welcome you to
The Village Bar Cafe

The Village Bar Cafe is a unique local pub / bistro that has gained recognition for its fantastic range of beers/ales, spirits and wines, excellent food, delicious coffees / teas, superb service and welcoming atmosphere.

In 2019, The Village Bar Cafe made the finals for both the "Food Awards Wales - Best Cafe/ Bistro" and "Best Bar in Wales - the Welsh Hospitality Awards". We are also listed in the 2020 CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

We pride ourselves on offering customers a dining / drinking experience that is hard to beat and excellent value for money. So, by day, we offer a café setting with coffee & homemade cake, breakfast and lunches alongside our local pub offering great beer, a selection of Real Ales and a wide range of wines and spirits. Then by night, the mood changes to more of a cosy local pub, with the menu offering a relaxed dining experience.

With room for only 22 covers at one time, we are small venue, but we think this is one of our strengths as we can ensure all our customers are well looked after. "The Village" offers a varied menu, but Tapas, local Seafood, Platters and Vegetarian & Vegan dishes feature as some of our regular favourites. Fresh produce is a must for us using seasonal vegetables, local seafood, fresh herbs and fruit are all part of our menu, changing throughout the year.
